Blog day 3—
Even  if today was a really cold day in New York, even with snow, we had so much fun! We just saw more amazing parts of the city. First, we visited the Statue of Liberty. It was kind of what I expected it to be, but still wonderful! I think it would have been better if we could have seen the inside too, but I still was stunned by the Lady Liberty!
Afterwards, we head to the United Nations. I thought it was really interesting, that it isn’t American territory and what they’re talking about in the assemblies. I didn’t really like our tour, but I was so excited, and I felt so smart, because I knew a lot of the things about UNICEF.
I guess we all enjoyed shopping at Times Square (how could it be different? ;)) and I really can’t believe how much money I spent! I was so excited about eating at Hard Rock CafĂ©, because I never went to one before. I loved it! I loved nearly everything there, the food, the shop, the exhibitions and the whole atmosphere!
For me, the best part of the whole day, maybe even of the whole trip, was the Broadway show we saw. “the Phantom of the Opera” was unexpectedly amazing! I never really understood the hype about Broadway shows, I always thought it would be just another theatre. But when  sat there in my chair, I found myself speechless. The first time the Phantom took Christien, and they sang together, I had goose bumps all over my body. I was also amazing to see normal people’s dreams comes true, because nearly every dancer or singer wants to end up in Broadway , and those actors are actually living their dreams. I know that if I ever come back to New York (what will definitely happen) I will see another Broadway show, and I will  keep this memory forever in my mind.

Shopping!!! Its crazy to think that one minute i can have a pocket full of money and the next its all gone with only one trip to fifth avenue. I love fashion.
I love how fast everything is. It made me feel like I was at home. Even the weather changes so fast. One minute its warm and the next it's cold.
The empire state building was cool. It was so tall my ears popped and it was so beautiful I felt like this is where I am meant to be.
I went to lunch at a Japanese restaurant. I went to lunch at a Japanese restaurant this is something I do at home all the time. It made me feel at home when I was there with my new friends.

I dont want to leave

Day 1 NYC

New York is awesome! I noticed after 5 minutes that I was here. Now I know where I want to live when I grow up because the city is a real dream. Even though its full of weird, fat or the most different people, I think it all fits together like a perfect puzzle. Everyone has their own place. Sometimes people might but be able to find their place here but I believe I can.

The time square lights are amazing. When the bus turned the corner. I was like Oh my god. I was so shocked. I have never seen something beautiful like this.

I hate dance. But, the woman who taught the class was the kind of woman I want to be. It was cool for me to be near her and see how she acts and how she talks. She was full of self confidence. She made us say over And over "ain't nobody fly than me". Its hard as a teenager to have confidence in ourselves. Because you never think you are good enough. You always thinking that the person next to you is better than you. It felt so good to say "ain't nobody better than me". I was so inspired.

The museum was so cool. I'm an artist. My favorite part was of the old time photos. I took 3 videos of all the photos because I love it so much. When I come back home with my journal I will draw that.

The weirdest thing happened in the museum. I came across an Italian family. I spoke to them in English trying to help them find Monet paintings. So they asked me if I was a real Italian. So I tried to speak Italian and I had to think about what I was saying. It sounded weird in my head. I can normally speak so fast without thinking. It was both sad and happy moment. Its a happy moment because I'm learning English. I think that English is my future. Or be sad because I forgot a part of where I am from.

Teenager just watch the future. And right now I am very happy too think about my future. But also, in the future I might be sad because of what I am thinking now.
